Essen Spiel, the biggest convention is over for another year. While we've marked our calendar for 2025, we thought we'd share just a few of the pictures in one round up!

WELCOME
Spiel reported this year selling out for the first time – the full four day tickets were sold out ahead of time for the first time, as then were the Thursday and Friday tickets , and once the event began, so did Saturday and Sunday. Reports suggest this year consisted of a record-breaking 204,000 attendees.
LOOT: The Game of Essen
There's always plenty to see at Essen Spiel, but LOOT was this years name to look out for. Together with Skellig Games, the game was designed by successful author Ralf zur Linde. The description read as follows:
Meeps is at the most beautiful games fair in the world and wants to visit as many booths as possible. In “Loot”, you can help Meeps do this by planning your moves cleverly and not letting yourself be pushed into a corner. Collect extra points and unlock special abilities in this exciting, family-friendly roll-and-meeps game for 2-4 players aged 8 and up.
