Play the new card game from the creator of Magic: The Gathering, KeyForge, at Tabletop Gaming Live

Want to be among the first people in the UK to play the new card game from Magic: The Gathering designer Richard Garfield? Come along to our Tabletop Gaming Live convention in Alexandra Palace on September 29th and 30th, where you’ll be able to try ambitious ‘Unique Deck Game’ KeyForge: Call of the Archons for yourself before it’s released.

KeyForge was just revealed at Gen Con last month, making Tabletop Gaming Live among the very first chances to play the game in the UK.

The game is the first ‘Unique Game’ from publisher Fantasy Flight – every single deck in the game is one-of-a-kind, meaning no two players will ever have the same selection of cards. There’s no deckbuilding and no booster packs: you simply pick up a ready-made deck and play as-is. With billions of decks in the game, there’s no shortage of new combinations to try!

Fantasy Flight will be demoing KeyForge throughout Tabletop Gaming Live on September 29th and 30th, alongside sessions of the brand new second edition of the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game and many other new releases.

Dozens of publishers will be headed to London’s Alexandra Palace to show off their latest games for players, including the first chance to see and play many of the hot announcements and releases from Gen Con.

Among those games will be Forbidden Sky, the next game from Pandemic and Forbidden Island designer Matt Leacock, which will celebrate its UK launch at Tabletop Gaming Live and will be available for visitors to play and buy at the show.

Other games making their way to Tabletop Gaming Live include The Walking Dead: Here’s Negan, making the show the first chance to play the comic-book semi-co-op board game in the UK; Oink Games’ Tomatomato and Flotsam Fight, released at Gen Con; the fifth edition of horror RPG Vampire: The Masquerade, also launched at Gen Con; Warhammer card game Age of Sigmar: Champions; Martin Wallace’s miniatures arena board game Wildlands; first Kingdomino expansion Age of Giants and many more.

The weekend will also include a packed schedule of free live talks, panels, seminars and workshops, from miniatures painting advice and roleplaying tips to designer interviews and a live edition of the Tabletop Gaming Podcast – see the full line-up here.
