Epsom Games Club

A weekly (and monthly) games club that meets on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in Epsom (convenient for gamers based in Surrey, and South-West London) - all types of gamers welcome, from beginners to hard-core veterans. Bring along something you want to play or just turn up empty handed and play whatever is going on, it is up to you – we usually muster somewhere between 12 and 20 on a Thursday evening. Our weekly Thursday sessions are held at 'The River Club' in Epsom, on the High Street (above McDonalds). It is a terrific place to play games, well lit, fairly quiet (but not deathly) and we have the use of a number of poker-tables on which to play - very civilized. We also hold a once a month Saturday games day - typically 3rd Saturday of each month but it can 'udge' around slightly - you will find details in the Guild calendar on Boardgamegeek. We hold our monthly Saturday sessions (10:00 to 18:00) at St Mary's Church Hall in Ewell (KT17 2BB). Due to having to hire the hall, there will be a charge of £5.00 for attending, however, free parking and being able to bring your own food and drink should make the overall experience actually cheaper than meeting in a central Epsom pub venue. Tea/coffee are available for a small charge.
