Halo: Flashpoint Miniatures Game Trailer Teased By Mantic Games

Halo Board Game?

Back in January, Mantic Games announced they were partnering with 343 Industries to bring Halo to the tabletop, as a miniatures combat game, to much acclaim. The Halo series of games are a real time strategy, first person shooter game, originally exclusive to Xbox. Developed by Bungie originally, and now managed and developed by 343 Industries, it spawned numerous additional games, as well as books, live-action series and films, and animated series, and has become a classic symbol of video gaming. As more and more video game franchises make their way to our tabletops, it's perhaps no surprise Halo was a contender.

Halo: Flashpoint

The new trailer for Halo: Flashpoint was revealed, alongside new information. You can see the trailer below: 

The trailer shows the characters within the video games, and the miniatures that have been made alongside them, in fighting scenarios. 

The game has promised to be first time gamer friendly – likely to appeal those who love Halo, but perhaps haven't played a miniatures game before – and will include pre assembled plastic miniatures in 40mm, and pre coloured and easy to assemble terrain. You'll be taking command of Spartan fireteams that clash against each other, using combat tactics and weapons from the Halo Universe.

A first reveal of the game in person will take place at Adepticon.

Mantic Games are leading the creation of Halo Flashpoint, but have extraordinary form for previous miniatures. such as Firefight, Deadzone, Armada, and Kings of War. They've also worked with previous licenses on adaptations of the likes of Hellboy, The Walking Dead, Mars Attacks, the Umbrella Academy, Invincible, and are currently developing Worms: The Board Game.
