Thank you, internet!
We were sad to hear that the Seattle based PaizoCon had cancelled on Friday March 27th 2020, in another convention affected by COVID-19 concerns.
Thankfully, PaizoCon may be down but it’s certainly not out, as it announced it was moving online instead!
The show must go on, and it’s great news for those of us who may not have been able to attend – thinking those of us in the UK, as flights aren’t cheap!- get the opportunity to see what it has to offer, mingle with like-minded players, and play some games together. Sounds great to us.
The convention will run online over six days between May 26th 2020 and May 31st 2020. You’ll be able to play games such as Pathfinder and Starfinder with other gamers.
If you want to sign up to play, you’ll need to do so between May 16th 2020 to May 24th 2020. You can do so via Warhorn, and games will be run ‘on a variety of VTT platforms such as Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, Astral, and D20Pro’.
Additionally, if you want to sign up to be a game master for PaizoCon Online, the opportunity to sign up is open now, and you’ll have until May 13th to do so.
There’ll also be seminars and live-plays available on Twitch. There’s also an Online Discord server, which acts as a hangout for attendees, so it’s easy to get involved.
There’s more information about how to sign up over on PaizoCon’s website, with more details of the schedule coming soon. Don’t forget to pop it into your calendar!
