Perpetuity: Grave Descent is a worker placement board game launching on Kickstarter on October 12th. The game is being developed by Gametime Again, a New Zealand based company with a goal to create games that are immersive and engaging.
Perpetuity: Grave Descent is a one-of-a-kind board game with a rotating system board, a unique and beautiful designed table presence and engaging gameplay. Development is also underway for a mobile companion application that extends the game play with an intelligent A.I. that can play the antagonist Perpetuity itself. Perpetuity is an ancient artificial star with a mind of its own. With the ability to manipulate Space, Time, Matter and Gravity, the inhabitants of the system will soon slip into oblivion.
Another unique feature of the game is for a single player to become Perpetuity itself and work against the other players in an effort to prevent them from removing inhabitants and artifacts from the failing system. Or players can choose to play as the mortal players attempting to rescue the inhabitants of the doomed system.
Perpetuity: Grave Descent supports 1 to 5 players, has 5 different modes of game play and is recommended for players 10 and up. You can check out the game here and sign up for the Kickstarter here.
