Tabletop titans, Asmodee, are well-known as a prolific board games publisher and distributor, and their latest collaboration will see Maestro Media’s biggest IP-led titles hitting the shelves in major international markets.

Who Are Maestro Media?
Asmodee is a household name by now, with a wide range of well-known titles in their arsenal. The company has an incredible array of tabletop studios under its wider umbrella, with the likes of Space Cowboys, Atomic Mass Games and Aconyte Books all linked to the brand. But, it is also a continuous supporter of the wider industry and a major distributor for those indie and larger studios that are looking to make an impact.
Maestro Media, on the other hand, might not be quite as recognisable, but you’ll likely have heard of many of the studio’s titles. Based in Los Angeles in the United States, the company was founded by Javon Frazier who has previous senior experience at the likes of Marvel Entertainment and Studio71, LP. While the company may have a couple of original titles like Sugar Heist from Alex Clark and Zach Craley, it has come to define its image based on pre-existing franchises.
Maestro Media has, therefore, created games for universally-sought after intellectual properties and gateway games like Disney in Donald Duck in Happy Camper, The Smurfs in Hidden Village, Strawberry Shortcake and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Some of these games boast innovative new narratives while others, like that latter example, actually offer players a chance to relive the movies that inspired them. So, Maestro Media has an exciting back catalogue to explore, but how have Asmodee helped to facilitate the studio’s continued rise?
What Is The Partnership Between Asmodee and Maestro Media?
On the 23rd of June, 2025, Asmodee and Maestro Media produced a joint press release, announcing an exclusive distribution partnership between the two teams. The deal would cover the United States, United Arab Emirates, and South Africa, in a monumental move that encourages wider interactivity with Maestro Media products. This naturally includes the studio’s past releases, alongside their future road map.
Founder and CEO, Javon Frazier said, “Partnering with Asmodee is a defining moment for Maestro Media. As we enter this next stage of growth, we’re focused on expanding the ways fans connect with our games—and there’s no better partner to do it with. Asmodee’s reach, reputation, and commitment to quality align perfectly with our vision of continuously creating unforgettable, community-driven experiences. We’re honored to keep growing alongside them.”
Meanwhile, Asmodee’s Country Manager, Julien Sharp, said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Maestro Media to our distribution portfolio. This partnership is a perfect match—Maestro’s innovative and fan-driven approach to game design, combined with Asmodee’s robust distribution network and retail reach, sets the stage for something truly special. Together, we’re poised to knock it out of the park and bring unforgettable gaming experiences to even more players across the country.”
The partnership begins in earnest immediately, but naturally it will take a little time before that infrastructure is up and running effectively.
Can I access Maestro Media Games In The UK?
Fear not, while the new Maestro Media and Asmodee’s announcement is focused on international markets, there are still opportunities to access Maestro Media’s titles in the UK, via the official online store. Asmodee, meanwhile, has a massive presence in the UK, and perhaps down the line this partnership will expand to include new territories.
This announcement has ultimately demonstrated that Maestro Media will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years, and pop culture enthusiasts should check out their titles right now!
