The stars of hugely popular roleplaying web show Critical Role are being turned into miniatures.

The Actual Play series, hosted by voice actor and GM Matthew Mercer and starring an all-star cast of voice performers, features an extended Dungeons & Dragons playthrough that is currently on its second campaign.

The newly-announced miniatures will include both the characters of Critical Role’s first season, known as Vox Machina, and its current second season, Mighty Nein.

The figures are made out of PVC and have been created by Steamforged, the British studio behind Guild Ball, Dark Souls: The Board Game and Godtear.

They’ll launch as a Kickstarter campaign later today (Tuesday June 26th), which will run for just 10 days.

Both sets will be available through the campaign as a single pledge tier, including the Vox Machina crew (Keyleth, Grog, Percy, Pike, Scanlan, Vax, Vex and Trinket), plus Kickstarter exclusives Tary and Doty, and Mighty Nein’s Beauregard, Caleb, Fjord, Jester, Nott, Mollymauk, Yasha and Shakäste, plus Pumat Prime and three Pumat ‘simulacrums’ as backer rewards. No price details have been revealed yet.

Steamforged added that it is working on a miniature line for the Exandria setting, hinting at future additions to the line-up of roleplaying-scale figures.

Critical Role recently announced that it was breaking away from media outlet Geek & Sundry to go solo and launch brand new shows, as well as hinting at other future projects – these miniatures are presumably just the beginning.
