BT-1 and 0-0-0 join A New Hope and Star Wars Rebels characters in spring releases
The twisted versions of fan-favourite Star Wars droids C-3PO and R2-D2 from Kieron Gillen’s comic book spin-off Darth Vader are headed to Imperial Assault.
0-0-0 and BT-1 are essentially evil takes on the beloved metal man and his rolling companion; 0-0-0 describes himself as “a protocol droid, specialised in etiquette, customers, translation and torture”, while BT-1 features a pop-out minigun and rockets.
The BT-1 and 0-0-0 Villain Pack includes minis of the two robots, plus a new campaign centred around an escape from an Imperial interrogation facility and a skirmish map with two missions.
The set will be out this spring, alongside two further packs for the well-loved game.
The Jawa Scavenger Villain Pack introduces one of the hooded thieves seen stealing the normal Threepio and R2 at the beginning of A New Hope, which can be integrated with campaign and skirmish matches in either a normal or elite variant. The set also comes with a new map, covering the back alleys of Mos Eisley.
There are also a couple of new additions to the light side of the Force, pulled from animated TV series Star Wars Rebels. Rebel fighter Hera Syndulla and the astromech droid C1-10P, also known as Chopper, are included in their eponymous Ally Pack, complete with another skirmish map and two extra missions.
