New Disney Lorcana Set Azurite Sea to Launch in November

The hugely popular trading card game Disney Lorcana is going full steam ahead, announcing its most recent set and a holiday collection in their Lorcast last night. Azurite Sea will release into game stores and mass market in November. 

It's safe to say we're fans of the game over at Tabletop Gaming – our latest magazine included a huge celebration, a pull out poster, special cover, and interview with Ryan Miller, the co-creator of Disney Lorcana!

What is Azurite Sea?

Disney Lorcana has a rich lore that explains why your characters are meeting in different ways. Azurite Sea continues this, with the Great Illuminary remaining damaged even after repair attempts in Shimmering Skies, and so seafaring glimmers, led by us Illumineers, are sailing the Azurite Sea looking for the owner of the hidden inkcaster uncovered in Ursula's Return, who may have the skills available to teach them how to fix the Great Illuminary. With just a mysterious Owl symbol to go on, that matches the maps of the Azurite Sea, it's a true test of your skills. 

Meanwhile, Jafar searches for the other half of the Hexwell Crown, determined to rule the land...

Who is in Azurite Sea?

We're promised glimmers of inventors and pirates in Disney Lorcana's Azurite Sea, and it's the former category that welcomes Big Hero 6 into Disney Lorcana for the first time, including Baymax, Hiro Hamada, Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Go Go Tomago and Fred. We'll also get to see some from Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, with Chip and Dale, Gadget Hackwrench, Monterey Jack and Zipper. We also know from the D23 collectors box that we'll be seeing Oswald the Lucky Rabbit too!

Buying Disney Lorcana's Azurite Sea

As we've come to expect, you'll be able to pick up two new starter decks, which will be combinations of Ruby/Amber, and Sapphire/Emerald.

There'll be your standard booster packs and the Illumineers Trove, card sleeves, deck boxes featuring Scar and the Hunny Wizard himself, Winnie the Pooh (a great choice given the popularity of this artwork), and playmats of Elsa and Donald Duck. 

Stitch Collectors Gift Set

Stitch is a fan favourite, and we've been seeing more of him throughout Disney Lorcana. With this release, you can pick up a Stitch Collectors Gift Set for £44.99, which will include a Stitch themed portfolio, four booster packs, and a unique "Stitch- Alien Buccaneer" water foil promo card, which has received a water-inspired foil treatment that's not been seen in Disney Lorcana before. 

When can I buy Disney Lorcana's Latest Set?

Following its pattern, you'll be able to buy Azurite Sea first from local game stores and Disney retail locations from 15th November 2024, and from mass market general retailers on 27th November 2024.
