Yet again – we present a superb selection of rules and scenarios along with a fine selection of scratch builds to help with your wargames table-tops!

Issue 461 of Miniature Wargames is upon us and – yet again – we present a superb selection of rules and scenarios along with a fine selection of scratch builds to help with your wargames table-tops!
On the cover and inside:  we have a Spanish Peninsular War scenario for  the popular Command & Colours Napoleonics system: Conrad Kinch presents an intriguing game but it’s just the first of two in this issue using this rule system.

With two articles – Rockets Red Glare and The War of 1812 – we have an American versus British double feature with two sets of scenarios and rules options. One of the rule sets in use in Arthur Harman’s piece is the second Command & Colours Napoleonics outing, complete with a Congreve Rocket adaptation for even more ‘red glare’!

In Silkweaver Caverns, we have an exclusive Dark Delve scenario for Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms with a huge with an arachnid. And – to help you play that – we finish up the scratch built cave system that we started last month.

Body Count. In Command Decision we return to the Vietnam war with the conclusion of a two part piece on the Tet Offensive.

In Doomsday Machine the Editor has constructed an A.I. system using a fully downloadable card deck to run the space ship game Silent Death for solo or cooperative play.

In Let ‘er Rip we present Killer Miller: The Man in the Iron Coat. It’s a historical scenario to highlight  the notion that metal body armour ain’t just for Ned Kelly! This Wild West scenario comes with a downloadable rule set.

In Practical Wargames Scenery Tony Harwood shows gamers how to make the very most of a basic MDF model by superdetailing a German Barn.
Finally, we have the review sections with of Defence in Depth with new products, Forward Observer for news – with the latest on forthcoming show dates – and Recce.

In the Last Word we hear from author and rules writer Chris Peers.
