Join the ranks of the Soundmakers and help the Guesser find the concept shown on your Sound card by "performing" the sound which you think best represents it... but beware, all other Soundmakers will be doing the same, all at the same time, and there are many more words on display than there are to guess!

At the beginning of each round, you place the Sound cards on the board and draw a numbered token from the bag to discover which one is assigned to you! Take your time to come up with the perfect sound to represent your card: you will have to imitate that sound to suggest your concept to the Guesser. If you are the Guesser, instead, your job will be to listen to the sounds performed by the Soundmakers.

At the start of the timer, all Soundmakers start to perform their sounds… simultaneously! Get ready for 13 seconds of hilarious acoustic extravaganza! Have you ever heard the sound of a giant monster attack fighting a guitar hero on a stormy night during a tennis match? Well, something like this may definitely happen to you!

When the timer runs out, the Guesser tries to find as many Sound cards as possible, one at a time! There are more cards on the table than sounds made by the Soundmakers, will you be able to find them all? Each correct guess will get you 1 point, but if you make a mistake, the round ends immediately!

If you gain enough points to reach the end of the Soundtrack, all players win. But beware, each Sound card that is left unguessed at the end of each round will make you lose 1 life, and if your Heart marker reaches the bottom of its track, all players lose!

And remember: more players… more noise! If your team is made of 6 or 7 people… here’s where things get really messy. The Guesser is now helped by another fancy figure: the Recorder, who has to… well, record every sound imitated by the Soundmakers, and reproduce it on command… if they can! With more than 150 different sounds to make, you’ll never have a match like any other.

There is also a limited edition version of the game that is only available through the Kickstarter campaign. "Sound Box: Kickstarter Edition" comes with a magnetic box, wooden tokens, a double-sided neoprene playmat, and additional game contents unlocked through daily stretch goals!
