A business as usual update for our magazine, show and store
We would like to take the chance to reassure our readers that the magazine and our associated event are still running business as (nearly) normal.
Tabletop Gaming Magazine
We’re still putting out a full size, 100-page, print magazine bursting with features, reviews and insights into the world of tabletop gaming. We’re even taking the opportunity to try a few new ideas (read: weird, cool stuff) which we’ll reveal soon.
A lot of our readers would usually pick up the magazine in a newsagent or local store. As this is becoming increasingly tricky we have made some great subscription offers that would usually only be available at shows available to everyone right now: see all subscription offers.
This is absolutely the best way to make sure you get a copy of the magazine every month without fail. For those that would like a few extras (mini interviews, galleries, videos and enhanced reviews), and prefer to read on a tablet or smartphone, we’d suggest picking up a digital subscription through Pocketmags – you get cool digital extras, and it’s optimised for all phones and tablets.
Tabletop Gaming Live 2020
We have had a few queries about Tabletop Gaming Live, scheduled for September 26 to 27. The show is still going ahead and should be an exciting weekend of gaming following what has been a difficult time for everyone. We’ve got some exciting talks and workshops lined up and a huge number of exhibitors already.
Like everyone running events at this time we’re following government guidelines and keeping an eye on the best course of action for keeping everyone safe. Full refunds will be given if the show is cancelled, should government advice make it impossible for Alexandra Palace to host the event.
You can grab a ticket now or get a ticket with a subscription deal.
The Games Store
We’ve also had a few questions about The Games Store. We’re still processing orders as they come through but shipping might take a little longer than expected in these strange times. We’ve got a nearly full set of all games from the Best Games of 2019 worth perusing (and completing your collection with).
Got a tip? Let us know!
If you know about a cool game in production, a Kickstarter about to go live, or indeed, if you’ve made a game yourself – get in touch. We’re always happy to hear any news from the analogue gaming world.
Want to write about games? Pitch us
If you’re a writer who has a cool idea for a feature for us, then get in touch. A first-time pitch usually consists of:
- What you want to write about
- What’s the hook, in one line?
- Why is it important/interesting/timely?
- Any people you may have lined up for the story
- Examples of previous writing
We’ll try and get back to you in good time. Feel free to chase pitches after one week. Pitch us here.
