It's that time of the week again!

It's nice to have something to look forward to, be that your weekly Kickstarter update right here, or when you make your pledge for a game and await its arrival. Here's a list of some newer Kickstarter tabletop games on the scene, which could be your next big thing to look forward to!

 

The Night Cage 

This is a cooperative horror-themed tile placement game, with the premise that you awaken, cold, mind blank, and in the dark. You have only a candle, and a question as to how long the light will last...You'll need to collect keys, find a gate, and escape together, with your path only illuminated by the candle as you proceed on your path.

Legacy: Quest for a Family Treasure

This is an immersive investigation game, with a narrative puzzle that includes real objects and documents. It contains two episodes, one set in Paris in 1889, and the other in modern-day (well, 2019) Hellas. You'll search the clues provided, plus those which you can research online. This is for 1-5 players ages 14+, and takes four hours to play

Sci-fi Dwarves

These are some great looking 28mm miniatures for wargames, made by Macrocosm. They're cast in a high quality white metal alloy, and you can pick up sets such as the command team, laser cannons, walkers, the witch hunter (shown below) and more.

Whale Riders

We couldn't not mention the new game from Knizia and Dutrait (and from Grail Games), which is Whale Riders, a new game with a classic feel where you'll race to the end of the ice coast and back attempting to buy and sell resources to make the most money. Of course, nothing is ever as easy as it sounds and you'll need to strategise and prepare for interruptions to your plans!

What’s the pledge to get a copy? AU$13 (about £8) for the card game, AU$28 (about £16) for the full game

D&D Dice Tower & Other Dungeon and Dragon Accessories

Now for something a little different, with this set of accessories from Smonex. They've got some interesting looking options, which include a Dice Tower, themed coaster sets, dice storage boxes, and a notepad.

Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Hall 

A new RPG that sees "Chinese Immigrants running the family restaurant by day, and dealing with the hauntings of Jiangshi by night!".

Jiangshi of course being hopping vampires, but as it's set in the 1920's, the vampires aren't the only enemy, as you'll face those at night, and racism by day.
