Matt Jarvis, Dan Jolin, Owen Duffy and Sam Illingworth discuss their picks of the show floor
With day one of UK Games Expo 2018 wrapped up, we’re rolling onto a second day of checking out the latest releases and previews from Birmingham’s NEC.
Day Two of our Tabletop Gaming Podcast round-up series includes editor Matt Jarvis speaking to writers and reviewers Dan Jolin, Owen Duffy and Sam Illingworth about their favourite games of the show.
Among the games catching the team’s fancy are Martin Wallace’s fantasy miniatures game Wildlands; historical card battler 1066, Tears to Many Mothers; the latest Ticket to Ride, diddly-sized New York; and the beautiful, heart-throbbing romantic-comedy relationship simulator Fog of Love.
If you missed yesterday’s round-up with James Wallis and Richard Jansen-Parkes, it can still be downloaded here. The third and final episode in the series, featuring guests Alex Sonechkina and Holly Gramazio, will be up tomorrow.
Listen to the latest Tabletop Gaming Podcast on iTunes and Stitcher now. It can also be downloaded from Podcasts.com, where you’ll find the RSS feed to import it into your media player or device of choice.
If you’re at this year’s UK Games Expo, don’t miss your chance to bag an amazing Tabletop Gaming subscription offer exclusive to the show, including five issues of the magazine for just £5, plus a goody bag worth over £45.
We’ll also be selling the latest issue – featuring the 150 Greatest Games of All Time, as voted for by you – and a special limited-edition reprint of the very first issue of Tabletop Gaming, previously sold out and only available from our stand at J18 in Hall One.
