Regional qualifier taking place on Saturday 29th in London’s Alexandra Palace
If you’re a dab hand at defeating disease or excellent when it comes to eradicating epidemics, prove your Pandemic Survival skills at Tabletop Gaming Live and you could win a spot in the 2019 UK National Championships.
The London gaming convention taking place in Alexandra Palace on Saturday Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th 2018 will host a regional qualifier for the competitive team event.
In Pandemic Survival, up to 12 teams of two players compete against each other to cure all four of the co-op game’s diseases first – or be the only team left standing as their opponents are eliminated by epidemics and outbreaks.
All of the teams play an identical scenario to keep things fair, using their characters’ skills and their decision-making to clear the board of plague cubes.
A win at the Pandemic Survival regional qualifier guarantees a place in the UK National Championships. Prove you’re the best the country has to offer and it’s on to the World Championships – with flights and accommodation covered. This year’s Pandemic Survival World Championships will be held in Lucca, Italy in November 2018.
The Pandemic Survival regional qualifier will take place at 2pm on Saturday September 29th in Alexandra Palace’s Panorama Room at Tabletop Gaming Live. The qualifier will last approximate two to three hours.
Entry is £5 per person, with tickets available during the show from the Tabletop Gaming stand at G82. There will be 24 places – 12 teams of two.
You can buy tickets for Tabletop Gaming Live from The Ticket Factory now, with prices starting from just £10. Children under 10 can attend for free with an accompanying adult, with family and weekend pass bundles available. Tickets will be available on the door, but book in advance to beat the queues.
