What's in this Issue?

In issue 484 of Miniature Wargames we have another great selection of scenarios, rules, and two scratch builds for the wargaming enthusiast of all periods.

On the cover we have D-Day: Ham & Jam. This is a Command Decision WWII Pegasus Bridge scenario tailored for three popular rulesets: Bolt Action, Rapid Fire and Flames of War. Just take your pick for your chosen system.

In Send Three And Fourpence we have All this and a world war too. This is that tricky discussion in historical gaming as to who gets to play the ‘bad guys’? And – for that matter-  who exactly are the bad guys...

In Shamrocks & Roses we present a Wars of the Roses encounter in an unusual environment: the scenario is set in from the Emerald Isle and downloadable rules are provided.
In Schleswig Holstein we give you Wargaming the wars of 1848-51 & 1864 with downloadable rules.

In Practical Wargames Scenery Tony Harwood is creating a ruined Chapel but – if that doesn’t scratch your modelling itch then buckle up: make 15mm SF tanks from (you’ve guessed it) belt buckles!

In Steady Boys Steady, the Editor takes his camera to Broadside wargames show and – in between- he also makes a visit to a new venue: Big Battles.

Talking of Broadside, the photography from last year’s show makes a appearance for The First L.R.D.G. The game was ‘A side show of a side show: The Senussi Campaign 1915 to 1917’ and it features in this issue with a Part One of Two.

Finally, we have the review sections with a bumper crop of Defence in Depth for Figures and rules, plus we have Forward Observer for news and Recce for ten insightful book reviews.

Last word is by Brendan Wheatley of DAK Attack.
