Carabosse the Bad Fairy is dead, and her Big Book of Villainy has been stolen...
Back now on Kickstarter - funded in 28 hours!
In a shocking revelation, the magic mirror has revealed that all the suspects are goodies, but who had a motive to go bad? You’ll need to swap, steal and search for the evidence in order to scupper the other detectives and sleuth your way to victory!
Let's just hope your case doesn't go cold before revealing your solution (dramatically, of course) and catching the culprit! Case closed!
WHAT’S NEW?
Foul Play: Once Upon A Crime uses the same rules and mechanics as Foul Play: Manor House Murder, but there are one or two differences to make the game worth it's weight in pledges!
There's 8 new suspects designed and illustrated by Anna Franquesa, but which of these fairy-tale felons committed the crime? Revenge, greed and one suffering from Stockholm Syndrome are just some of the potential motives to drive a goodie to go bad! We will be featuring full character profiles on the Foul Play website!
Now instead of interrogating other players or carrying out full cooperation, you get to investigate the crime scene a little more thoroughly, or be the baddest cop of all and make an opposing player discard their whole hand and replace it with a new one from the evidence locker!
We've kept the same design for the backs of the cards as the 1st edition of the game. This means that you can combine decks, swap the special action cards around and even try and solve two murders at the same time! Want to separate the decks back again when you've finished? Don't panic - the font used for the titles on the action cards is different so you can easily tell them apart.
