What’s an RPG?
Not sure what an RPG is? No problem, it’s something we get asked all the time. RPG stands for role-playing game. You can create your own character and become anyone – or anything – you want for a few hours. It’s an expansive build on classic board game ideas, giving you freedom and adventure.
Once you’ve created your character and customised them with weapons, shields, armour, and skills, you embark on an epic quest, visiting all locations on the map and solving the problems outlined in the book by thinking and acting like your character. You solve problems by unleashing your imagination to think up crazy solutions. Then when you’ve got your idea, you roll dice to see if it works.
And don’t worry if you don’t have a great imagination. You’ll be surprised at just how quickly you’ll get the hang of the game. We’ve added loads of helpful hints and tips throughout the game so you can spend more time having fun than learning rules.
