We have an exciting opportunity for dedicated and approachable individuals to join our talented team of Games Demonstrators. We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic and – above all – outgoing recruits to join us in introducing the masses to the wide and wonderful world of board games, card games and everything tabletop.

We work all across the country to introduce and promote the board-gaming hobby to members of the public. Our focus is on several key brands in our range of award-winning games, such as Dobble, Cobra Paw, Rory’s Story Cubes and Bananagrams. The goal is to offer a memorable and positive play experience at all manner of events, from high-street store demos to conventions and family festivals. While the busiest time for demonstrations is over the Black Friday and Christmas shopping period, we have events all year round.

 

Most of this work takes place at weekends and, due to the irregular nature and volume of the shift bookings, we utilise zero-hour contracts. This means that there is no obligation for us to offer hours, nor for you to accept them if offered. This does mean that the role is flexible around your personal commitments, such as full-time education or full-time employment, and works well around other obligations on your time.

Prior knowledge of tabletop and board gaming would be helpful but is not a prerequisite as training will be provided.

This role is open to applicants from anywhere within the UK and will not require proximity to our Alton headquarters.
